SUNDAY | Consistency Beats Clean Eating
Long-term health outcomes are driven by patterns, not perfection. Research consistently shows that flexible dietary control produces better adherence, psychological health, and metabolic outcomes than rigid restriction(Westenhoefer et al., 2013).
“Clean eating” often fails because it leaves no room for life. Sustainable nutrition is not about avoiding mistakes, it’s about minimizing their impact.
Consistency does not mean eating perfectly. It means returning to structure repeatedly. The body responds to trends over time, not isolated events.
You didn’t fail the plan.
The plan wasn’t built for reality.
This week wasn’t about rules. It was about rebuilding trust with food and with yourself.
That’s where real progress begins.
