Sunday Reset: A Mindful Start to Your Week 

Sundays are the perfect time to slow down, reset, and set the tone for the week ahead. One of the most powerful tools you can use is mindful breathing—a simple practice that takes only a few minutes but pays off in clarity, calm, and focus. 

Here is how to do it: 

  1. Find a quiet spot. Sit comfortably, close your eyes if you like. 
  1. Breathe in deeply through your nose for a count of four. 
  1. Hold for a moment, then exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of six. 
  1. Repeat for 3–5 minutes. 

This short pause helps regulate your nervous system, lowers stress hormones, and creates space to respond instead of react when challenges come up. Pair it with a quick reflection—ask yourself: What is one intention I want to carry into this week? Writing it down can reinforce your focus. 

You do not need an hour-long meditation session to reap the benefits. Just a few mindful breaths each Sunday can set you up for a calmer, more intentional week.
