Weekly Theme: Common Beliefs That Block Momentum
“Most barriers aren’t physical — they’re the stories we believe about ourselves.”
Thursday — It’s Not Time. It’s Priority.
We all get 24 hours. When someone says, “I don’t have time,” what they often mean is, “It’s not a priority yet.”
When habits live in unstable contexts, they rarely stick. But when you anchor a habit to a steady cue — “after brushing my teeth,” “right after lunch” — the behavior becomes easier to repeat.
A 2024 study in *Annals of Behavioral Medicine* found that people who performed new habits in **consistent contexts** built stronger, more lasting patterns than those in variable settings.
**Tonight’s challenge:**
Pick one small, specific habit you can fit in (even 5 minutes). Anchor it to something you already do daily.
